Online Learning Update

Boozhoo Parents, Guardians, Students and Community Members,

We have been given direction by our Board to delay our in-person school programming until September 21st . Due to the high demand for online learning, the Chromebooks we have ordered for all students have not yet arrived. Our updated plan is to run with online learning on Sept 14th. Teachers have started to connect with all families to help bridge support and communication.

When students’ Chromebooks arrive, we will connect with each family to arrange for delivery.

Please note that we are available, by appointment, for any one-to-one mental health support and counselling. This is to ensure we are taking every precaution needed to keep everyone safe. The required Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) will be worn during these appointments at all times. A
full sanitization will be done before and after each appointment as well. If in-person mental health support and counseling is not feasible at the school, we can accommodate by utilizing Zoom video communication. If any one-to-one tutoring is required, we can facilitate this over Zoom video
communication as well.
